Born in Jacksonville, Jason's connection to the food business began at age nine, visiting his grandfather's Italian deli in Southern California. Years later, back in Jacksonville, NC, he began his pizza career as a delivery driver and learned the business from the ground up, working his way through every role before eventually becoming a general manager overseeing multiple locations. After pursuing other opportunities, Jason returned to the pizza business and, together with his family, brought decades of pizza making and restaurant experience together to create Casa Mia Pizzeria in 2019.

Monica brought her own years of pizza experience to Casa Mia long before its doors opened. A former U.S. Navy firefighter, she has spent a couple of decades in the pizza business, working her way through nearly every position and into management. Since Casa Mia began in 2019, Monica has remained deeply involved in the day to day business, stepping into whatever role is needed while helping manage and support operations behind the scenes. Her steady commitment to her family, the business, and the people around her continues to be an important part of Casa Mia.
